Hi, My doctor said I need to start planning my meals better
I am 16 years old, male and type 1 diabetic.
He limited me to 2500 calories a day, because I'm verry small and he said he gave me the extra 500 to grow more.
I'm reading a little meal planning sheet he gave me today and it says that it's much better to have a custom meal plan for more freedom and such.
I really couldn't care what I have to eat, my blood sugars are ranging from 550-600 all day long, it's never been good, Ive been diabetic for 4 years and it's never changed, he really scarred me today when he told me I wasn't gonna live to see my 20's, and if I did I'd be on dialasys and be blind.
All I ask is that I get a good portion of every part of the food pyramid in everyday. Help is greatly greatly appreciated, thank you.
